The Clark County Shooting Complex is the site for the Last Thursday events and all events are hosted by the Vegas Skeet Association. All local shooters and Las Vegas visitors with a CCSC safety card are welcome to shoot with our group. The upcoming October 28, 2021 shoot has $24 in added money.

Conflicts
If there is a conflict with a major event at the Clark County Shooting Complex, an alternate date will be selected, posted here and sent to the mailing list.
Holidays frequently land on the last Thursday of the month. In 2021 we have Thanksgiving on November 25th, which is the last Thursday. The November 2021 event has been scheduled for the 18th.
There will likely be another conflict during the year, so check the schedule for changes.
Inclement Weather and Other Issues
In the event of inclement weather, an event may be postponed or cancelled. We will attempt to notify shooters on the mailing list as soon as a decision is reached to cancel or reschedule.

Our History
The Last Thursday Shoot originated in 2014 when two shooters got into a pissing match about who shot better and this event was born. It started with multiple events like wobble, 5 stand, skeet and trap doubles. Eventually the present day format was settled on. A little cash was added to apply a little pressure and the Lucky Dog was added to distribute the money to more people.
Disclaimer: There is another Last Thursday group who believe in Last Thursdayism and have a church called the Last Thursday Church (largest in the world according to them). We are not associated or affiliated with them in any way; however, since they believe the universe was created last Thursday and will end next Thursday, we'll continue to shoot as if it were our last day!
The Rules
- ATA rules apply to this event.
- All ties divide.
- The handicap yardage is drawn the morning of the shoot. The result could be anywhere between 19 and 27 yards. All singles are shot from the 16 yard line.
- HOA winner splits cash with the Lucky Dog.
- Each event will have a winner(s).
- All money taken in is paid out to the winners immediately after all scores have been checked.
- The Lucky Dog is drawn from non-winners of singles and handicap after all others have been paid.
Fees & Payouts
Each event will have a winner (all ties split). $6 gets a shooter entered in everything. The cost of 50 birds is $12.50 and please bring cash. All money taken in is paid out to the winners immediately after all scores have been checked. The Lucky Dog is drawn from non-winners of singles and handicap after all others have been paid. The Lucky Dog gets half of the HOA money.
